There are many noises going on in the background. The television with a show on it I dont even watch. Music playing. Joleigh is sleeping by my legs so I can't even straighten them.
Well, since I joined this website when I was in louisiana I have yet to write in it. It's been almost a month since I was there last. I guess I'll start using this somewhat like a journal. That means Im going to mispell words often, not make full sentences, and complain.
These past 3 months have been the most 'INTENSE' three months of my entire life. Maybe I shouldnt say entire life, because im sure there was something really fucking awesome that had happend to me when I was little and I said the same thing about it. I should re-word it as, the most life changing, interesting, intense, and depressing three months. It's been a really really big emotional rollarcoaster for me.
We can start when I met Dan. Megan is friends with a guy in this band called 'My american heart' and they just-so happend to be touring with this guy named Dan in a band called playradioplay. Now, I had never heard of any of these bands on this tour nor do/did I really enjoy going to shows to see bands play.
I had my eye on this guy I had thought to be a merch guy for one of the other bands. He was skinny and had long REDDISH/brown hair. So, we invited him to come eat sushi with us and a guy named CC. Alot was happening the momment we were inviting him and I didn't really catch what he response was to megan but I had thought he said yes. So megan and cc go to the car and Im kinda just wandering cause I thought he asked us to wait. Well come to find out he said no. (then later I fount out that he asked megan if she could wait 5 min and she said no and THAT was why he didn't come. megan, why are you so impatient?)
So we go eat sushi and on the ride I turn around and ask CC what "RODNEY" did. CC looked very confused and didn't know anyone named Rodney. Come to find out, he thought it would be funny to tell me his name was rodney because he has always wanted to name his dog that. Then CC told me his name was Dan. Whew. So then CC answered my question he said something along the lines of, Dans this kid that writes electronic music with his laptop and had a x girlfriend named madi that he wrote alot of his songs about and theres this one song called 'madi dont leave' and it talks about credit cards and running away and stuff. My reaction was something like a chuckle and megans reaction was like "awwww". The conversation then ended.
So when we were done eating and arrived back at the venue I was searching for him. We saw a couple of the guys walking back and forth from this tattoo shop. They had told us Dan was paying for a scott to get a tattoo of whatever Dan wanted. So we went to the tattoo shop. I don't remember the exact conversation I had with Dan but I remember confronting him about his X girlfriend and his 'madi dont leave' song. The tattoo artist soon started the tattoo and I could feel Dan looking at me alot of the time. I will admit I did feel awkward. Why does this guy keep looking at me with such interest in his eyes?
Then Megan dragged me back to the venue to watch the other bands. At this time I wasn't aware that once you enter the venue that you may not walk out unless you are 21. I wasn't very happy with this rule and find it to be pointless. So im stuck in this little stupid ass venue with no air conditioning waiting for the second to last band to play. I had to sit through 4 bands.
Finally Dan got on stage. His music was making me bounce and I enjoyed the set. I waited after he played for him to come by this merch table I had been at the whole time and sell his merch. He never came. For a good 30 min I just pretended to like the music that was now being played.
Here comes Dan trying to make it through all these people who are tapping his shoulder asking for pictures and signatures. He finally makes it to me and me and megan were pretty excited to see him that we hold him down and run our hands through his hair really really fast. Then he asked me if I wanted taco bell. (I always want taco bell). Then I finally got megan to go. So we went with Dan, his drummer jon, and his keyboardist jude. We had a good time and while in the van Dan asked me for my number. I was so happy but played it cool.
When we got back to the venue ..........
